It saddens and frustrates me to read again and again that buyers are using the "personal" payment option on Paypal and are then scammed. Honest sellers will not ask you to do this, because it is a complete misuse of Paypal. When you are making a purchase, you use the "purchase" option, which provides you protection against fraud. Sellers, if you list Paypal as a payment option, YOU are responsible to pay the paypal fee....you are using a service, and must pay the required fee...that is basic integrity and honesty. If you ask a buyer to pay the fee, YOU ARE IN VIOLATION of your Paypal agreement. Read it and see. Buyers must wise up and NOT buy from sellers who try to dodge the fee, whether by asking the buyer to pay it, or by asking them to use the "personal" option. And sellers need to read their Paypal agreement and comply with it! Let's keep Vegsource the wonderful resource it has been for years (I've been using it to both buy and sell for many years), and band together to stop the scamming! A Paypal fee is a small price to pay to maintain your integrity.

Your fellow homeschool mom and Vegsource user,
Shelley Boyd
