I too bought this item from "Jessica." I just talked to someone else
who contacted Lisa (her actual name) and she responded and was
willing to work things out. Personally I used PayPal - personal- as
well and I did get my money back from PayPal after many, many
phone calls. I was not in a position to lose $190 so we had to spend
the time battling with PayPal which finally resulted in a reversal of
the transaction. I also just learned that on the mfwcurriculumswap site there is
another woman who has stolen money from 10 families so far
(probably, and counting just like here).This woman did this just a
month or so ago on this site and someone said she was on a
Christian Light site scamming too. I will be only buying from local sales or retail from now on. It is very
disturbing that people like this, who are actual homeschoolers, will
do this to their own community. It does need to be reported so that
a clear message is sent that we won't tolerate this. Even if they
make good on what they did, it appears that the hassle and shame
of all that isn't enough to discourage them to stop.
