Subject:         Has anyone heard of selling now (and wanting payment now) but shipping later--like in 2 months?
Date: April 2, 2006 at 2:01 pm PST

I've seen one "for sale" post where somoene was offering to reserve books for buyers who would pay when the books were available at the end of the school year. Now I see one where payment is asked for up-front for some items that can't be shipped until the school year ends in a couple months. Is this a common practice? I know it helps us have money to buy our own books for next year, but how can I make sure I'll get what I pay for?

I'm already worried about a set of books I haven't received yet and don't want another headache.

Thanks for any help/insights!
