Did either you or the seller get delivery confirmation or insurance? Media mail usually doesn't take longer than a month. You said that you honestly believed she mailed it. So, if that's the case and neither of you got insurance maybe you should see if she'd be willing to split the loss. That way you're not out the total amount and neither is she. This is why I always put confirmation on my packages. That way if they are delayed I can always find out where they are. This is for my peace of mind as well as the buyers. Hope things work out.
