I'm sorry that happened. Something similar happened to me, except that my package was not very much (just 1 book). The person I was dealing with did email back and did offer a refund if I never received the book. However, I did not ask that the book be insured or tracked in any way, and I did know that it was being shipped media mail so I felt that I couldn't really fault the seller for the PO screw up. Maybe if she isn't receptive to a full refund, the two of you could split the difference. You can alway try emailing one more time. What could it hurt? Good luck to you and I hope you can resolve this.
