Subject:	questionable buyers

I had someone email me to buy a number of items, about a dozen, that totaled $100 ppd. I replied with my payment info. and told her I would package it up to go out. I wondered why I didn't hear back for a day or two. Then, she tells me she had contacted another buyer at the same time and is buying from her.

First of all, don't contact someone to buy their items unless you are going to follow through honestly and complete the purchase.

Secondly, this sounds like a story, as there is NO WAY in this world that she could be buying even a few of the same items from someone else. These are unique and rare items.

So, I wonder if she didn't have enough money to complete both transactions and why didn't she know this to start with?

I am glad I am requiring Paypal payment before I ship or I might not get paid at all.

Does this kind of thing happen very often on these boards? This is the first time someone has pulled anything like this in many years.
