If someone's going to email you that they want something, but that's all they say -- you don't have to wait three days for them to confirm. I'd wait the 24 hours like you said, at the most. If they can't get back to you within 24 hours, they shouldn't be replying that they want it, IMHO. That's the nature of boards like these -- early bird gets the worm.
