Subject:	need help on shipping/insurance questions

Hi. I have been buying and selling on vegsource a few years now, and have never run into a problem like this one. I bought an item, paid with a postal money order as I have had problems with paypal in the past and I did not want to wait for a personal check to clear as I needed the item right away. I forgot to request insurance, so when I bought my money order I added on the amount to cover insurance. I notified the seller payment was on the way and about the insurance, she replied great and no problem with the insurance. She notified me when payment arrived, and when she sent the package, and included the insurance number. After two weeks, I emailed as the package had not arrived, and I have never had one take this long before. The seller replied, saying it could take up to three weeks, but she would check at the post office and get back to me the following afternoon. That was a week ago, and I have heard nothing more from her. It has now been three weeks since I was notified the package was shipped. I have gone to my local post office with my money order stub and the insurance number that was emailed to me, and was told I can do nothing, any claim needs to be initiated by the person who shipped the package, in this case the seller. I had good communication with the seller until a week ago, now nothing from the seller. Can anyone offer me any advice on what I can do, I need the material, but I need my money back to buy it elsewhere. How long do I need to wait, what can I do? Thank you, and blessings.
