You did let her know quickly and didn't leave her hanging for weeks on end so she actually got off a little better than most. I would just ignore her from now on and I am sure it will blow over. You could always post your side if it isn't on this board and let it be. It is a lesson for all of us to make sure we want the item before we ask for it.
