People will read all the posts. I don't think what has transpired will make anyone afraid to have a transaction with you. It seems like you made it right whether it was your "fault" or not that that package arrived empty. The buyer acknowledges that you reimbursed her. It would be nice if people waited a few days before posting to give others a chance to reply, since not everyone is online everyday. But the buyer did not do it out of spite. It is nice that you acknowledged that you might not have packaged as well as you could have. That is usually the problem when the books don't arrive. Media mail is handled very roughly and the books need to be packaged very well. I probably go overboard, but I haven't had any damaged books yet. In any case, I know this situation hasn't been pleasant for you, but I hope my feedback will reassure you.
