Subject:	I think i was ripped off, what do you think/what can i do?

Hello, i make a deal w/a lady selling books on here about 3 weeks ago. She had a lot of books for sale, i offered to buy them, my dh said i coudn't spend that much $ so i asked if she'd take less for less books, She agreed. I sent a mo the next day, i got from walmart. Well over a week passed and she em and asked if i sent it. I replied i'd sent it the next day, asked for her addy again to compare w/what she originally sent (as sometimes we type fast and mess up:) It was the same, she then told em to see if i could track it or stop it. Well, i've not done a mo except once last year. so i'm not that familiar w/them. I sent the whole thing, i didnt keep my stub or copy. I told her that. Well, my dh was sceptical to begin with, #1) didnt want to take pp which i offered, she really pushe for a mo) #2) saying she didnt get it
So, another week has gone by,,,,,,,,,still not mo. She then says she's gonna send them regardless. Wow, our thoughts of her keeping my $ was gone as she was going to send the books. A week later, she em and says no mo yet and that dh says to quit waiting for mo to sell to someone else who has em her. So my though, she has someone else wanting the whole set willing to pay full price. I have talked to my dh and prayed about this to not respond bad. My dh said we'd send $40 through pp (the $40 agreed upon),,,,not that we have the extra $$, but dh thinks better to be our $80 and get the books, more than we can REALLY afford, than to be our $40 and no books, So i em her today offering to send $40 via pp. She em back and says it's not about the $$, but she refuses to take my payment now through pp. I have appealed to her, asking her to not rip us off, etc.......***If she wont take my payment, why?? Because she has possibly already make commitment to sell to someone else...** Is she asking them for a mo?? Will she do this again?
What do you think? I am not used to being ripped off, as i always sent pp for payment for things i have bought.
She seemed so nice, but now is unwilling to respond to my plea. Why would she not want to take my pp payment????????????????????
Just looking for thoughts, i've not been through this before!!!!!:( I am very discouraged as we really needed the books and are behind already in school.
