I will pray for you, but I'd like to share w/you a verse that is now my favorite. Here it is James 1:2-3 "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience."
There was a time in my life when I couldn't feel joy or even laugh and I remember my pastor preaching from this verse one Sunday. At first I thought to myself "easier said than done", but God was speaking to me that day and I began to study that verse. What He taught "me" was that I was not trusting Him with this thing that was out of "my" control. In John 17 He says I am one of His "kept" and that He has lost none of His kept. Nothing can snatch me from Him. Every trial I endure brings me closer to Him and I can feel His love each and every time. Once I understood that, I found my joy!!! Joy that He loves me enough to refine me and joy that I am safe with Him on my side, and yes even joy in the trials.
