Subject:	Friend's daughter- ICU

Hi, I usually just 'lurk' here and pray for requests throughout the week.

Several weeks ago we found out the 16 year old daughter of dear friends of ours had acute luekemia (sp?). She is now going through her fourth round of chemo and is having a tough time. She is in UCU for the third day now and her heart is needed some major medication and she has an infection and ... other things besides she just cannot rest with all they need to do to monitor her and keep things undercontrol. Mom is there 24 hours a day -- does not want to be any where else. They do have four other children -- most are in school except the two year old -- must be tough on her with out mom around so much.

Please pray for her and her mom at this time. It is also hard for them to visit with the other children when she is in ICU -- not easy when she is in her reg room, but really hard when she is down in ICU.

Just thought sharing this wound increase the prayers for her and she might be at least more able to rest today. Thanks!
