Please pray for me. I'm don't even know if I'm confused or just can't wait for the Lord's answer. I have been keeping a toddler since Feb., 24/7, who I have been babysitting since birth, at my own expense. The mom did sign papers giving me temp. custody. She hasn't visited him since. She wants me to adopt him. I want that more than anything. The problem is the money for the adoption. I'm single and depend on my son, who's living at home, to help with bills. I have heard they do credit checks. Also, she listed the father as unknown. This can get expensive if the judge pursues that. Maybe I should just let things ride as they are. Any and all prayers will be welcomed.
