Subject:	i feel so rediculous asking this...

...but are these kids collecting post cards that are unused and in mint condition mailed to them in envelopes...or are they collecting postcards that have been mailed and stamped from those states and written on by other kids (A La Penpal sorta thing)???

Because I noticed someone from somewhere had postcards from Japan...and I was surprised to see that guessing the kids were collecting postcards that are stamped.

Isn't part of the excitement of collecting them, hearing from people in other areas? So are they written on or pristine?
