But you have got to admit the positives over your average place elsewhere in America. Great beaches! Great natural beauty! Great diversity! I suggest you learn to scuba dive. The scuba diving in Guam is better than any other state. Better than Hawaii and Florida. The number of species living among the reefs in Guam is almost double to that of Hawaii. When your back in the states you got the long, dark winters. Your almost always land-locked and the beaches are crappy, cold and there is nothing to see underwater. You can't beat the tropics! We can't even comparison a places like Alabama with Guam. Also, most of the states is the same old European-American culture. It's good to get exposed to other cultures besides the European-American culture that you were raised in and likely been surrounded by all your life. I'm assuming your a European-American (ie. white skinned person; person of European ancestry). You need to be optimistic and focus on the positives! Every place has it's pros and cons!
