My husband is joining the Army...advice on military life and homeschooling?

Hi,
My husband is joining the Army as a Chaplain and goes to basic in June at Ft. Jackson, SC. We haven't found out where we will be stationed yet.
I homeschool our only child. She's in 8th grade. Do most bases have strong homeschool communities? What challenges do you see being in the military and homeschooling? Any advice? This is going to be such a big change. I'm a pastor's wife now, so hopefully that has prepared me a little for what life will be like as a chaplain's wife. We are excited, though, for what God has in store for us.
