We just got here Feb. 05 and love it here! We find the Chamorro people amazing! Everyone has been helpful and nice. There is so much to do here, so much history. Yes, things are expensive. How do you think the Chamorros feel? We on base can get things way cheaper than they can. We have privileges they don't unless they work on base. We stayed at PIC for awhile when we first got here, and one of the locals that worked there we became instant friends and so did our four children. We have already been to several local events and been welcomed with open arms. We love it here. You know, it's what you make of it. There are positives and negatives everywhere you go, enjoy life. And we are visitors on this island. Thanks!
