We've done both and enjoyed both. I have to agree with the other ladies though...HI would definitely be my first choice. Regulations are continually changing so please have your dh ask...but is Guam really an option? When I got out of the Navy, way back in '98, they were putting restrictions on the number of dependents allowed overseas. The mil member was ineligible for overseas orders if they had 4 or more dependents, in an effort to save money. This may not be the current regulation but I would look into it before getting myself excited about something that can't happen. Maybe we'll see you in HI. We're trying to decide if we should stay in for one more tour in HI or retire(dh) in Sept '05. After doing this for so many years, I never thought that moving into the civilian sector would be such a difficult and scarey decision.
