Apparently a pilot study was done in pennsylnania that openly let homeschoolers into the air force on a homeschool diploma alone. After two years the results were that homeschoolers scored poorly, had more incidents of trouble and usually stayed in two yes before getting kicked out. Sounds like typical homeschoolers right? Well it turns out that the majority of test subjects were actually high school dropouts instead of bonified homeschoolers. So they did away with the accepting based on a homeshcool diploma and now require 15 college credits to verify homeschool education. My son scored a 98 on asvabs but still needed a semester of college to get into the air force.
