We just moved FROM Oahu. The MHEN is an EXCELLENT source. We were just too far away to be very involved, but with you being at Hickam, I think it will be ideal for you. Don't worry about your daughter's social issues. Hawaii is notorious for that---more the other kids than your child, I'm sure. We were fortunate enough to know that beforehand, so we homeschooled from the start.
