I am almost in the same boat!! I have decided to take my 5, 7, & 9 year old out of public school after Christmas break. (End of 2nd semester) I have spent a lot of time researching and will continue to search and ask questions but I am 90% sure I am going to start with My Fathers World curriculum. It seems like a good fit for our family and several people in the homeschool coop have mentioned it to me and they like it. I wish you luck, I am so excited starting this new chapter with my children but a little stressed and overwhelmed at the same time!!
