I have a 12 y/o boy and I have to say that it doesn't differ much now that he's older. The biggest difference now is that he's allowed more freedom of choice in what he's learning (not really a CM thing, but it's how we do things). So if there is a particular artist he wants to study, or if there's a particular science topic he's wanting to cover, we do it in the CM method.
