I use AO with three children. For my dd who is in year 3 I read some of the selections but require her to read some. My voice can't handle haing to read everything. For my boys in year 1 I have to read everything but most of the readings are short so that helps. Also my DH reads some of the free reads at night to the children. We all sit around the table and do math at the same time. If anyone wants more details just ask. I will come back here. Christy
