We are a pro-military family, but we are having difficulties in the enlistment of our daughter into the Air Force. Our oldest is active-duty Army, and our third-oldest already served in the Air Force. All used our homeschool diploma as proof of graduation. Now, my daughter is told her diploma is good, she needs a 31 on the ASVAB test. 6 wks later, we are told she needs to retake the test (she scored a 50) and now needs a 65. She is in the same category as having a GED. She already qualified for the school she wants, everything else is good. My son only needed a 50 to enlist. If you have a public-school diploma, you don't need to know as much?
She is re-taking the test today. Please pray, because if she doesn't raise the score to a 65, she cannot enlist. She has the option of getting 6 more credits from college, then reapplying, but her school slot will not be there. Crazy, as my youngest is in the process of applying to the Air Force Academy, and they accept his diploma.
