Miss turning pages:
I'm not sure what you mean. Do I miss it? A little bit, because it's easier to go back a few dozen pages in a real book than on the Kindle, but that's a very minor inconvenience.

Cost of books:
Most are $10 or less.

Download time: It can take a while if you have low signal, as it's carried over the cell-phone networks. However you can download the books from the internet and sync them to the Kindle via USB.
