No, it's not in the actual pit that used to be the Twin Towers. But it is well within the damage zone, at a building that was a part of the attack, if only incidentally. Tell me--why do you think they chose this particular spot? They could build a mosque any where in NY...shoot, there are already over a hundred there. Why do they have to build it THERE?
