Millie: Please think this over carefully and let me know your answer: Do you want me to post a lot or do you not want me to post a lot? I get in trouble either way, evidently - this being an example of being in trouble for actually NOT posting. Sheesh, please make a final decision and let me know, ok?

Queen: It's a glaring inconsistency on your part. I was just sayin'. . . . It's not and I explained why. Again, you skipped the important question. Why?

Millie: Oh, so it was a dirty political trick, eh? Dems didn't want it to pass and neither did I. It added to the deficit without anything in return.

Queen: It was a compromise. You know, that thing that Democrats are always saying Republicans refuse to do. Reps do refuse to compromise. That's why they have filibustered an unprecedented number of times in this session and have stalled every bill that comes up --- even helping 9/11 victims.

Millie: You might want to consult Boehner - he and other Reps disagree with you. ****Please explain how they don't run up the deficit when they have to be borrowed. ****

Queen: as of this last Sunday's talk show's
Boehner AGREED with me. Tax cuts don't run up the deficit. Excessive spending does. You don't "pay" for a tax cut, because any freshman economics student can tell you that reducing the cost of doing business results in more business and thus MORE revenue for the government. Any freshman economics student can also tell you that Republicans didn't do that 2nd part - at all. Tax cuts do have to be borrowed -- that money isn't coming in but they still spent it -- and more. The "more revenue" part didn't happen. That's a fact. Again, good theory on paper - not a reality. It's now known so let's not go backward. I thought you said that Republicans learned lessons from their past but here you are defending their past again.

Millie: Your assessment is false. If/when you get the facts straight, ask again. Thanks. :)

Queen: Which part of my assessment was "false"? Please elaborate. Thanks. :) That whole paragraph. If you'll research *your* claims, you'll see. I shouldn't have to research your claims, should I? I am a member of the Democratic Party and know those aren't our beliefs - if you think they are, you are mistaken. Again, take that sentence you directed at me about "news" sources and replace yours if that is where you got the faulty info.

Millie: I don't think data supports your claim

Queen: Really. I'm not surprised you think that. :) So, you won't share your research?

Millie: This is, again, where you seem to simply want to defund things without concern for the replacement system.

Queen: Again, a major mis-reading of what I've said. :( What exactly did I say in this post, or any other, that indicated I want to totally defund anything witout concerns for the replacement system? I'm curious. What am I defunding? When you don't explain your "plan" to enact the "take government out of it" statements. You just leave it there. There must be a workable contingency plan which you never provide. If you did, please show me. Thanks.

Millie:"Liberals" don't demonize -- they are demonized by the likes of Limbaugh, Beck, Cindy, etc.

Queen: I don't think the data supports your claim. If you look on the board, the worst thing any conservative has said about you, Annie, or Jaq is that you were likely uninformed on an issue. However, if you look at the times one of you has called one of us a troll, an outsider, an idiot(and those are just a few of the most recent, and most polite. I won't even repeat what you said about Rush . . ) I think that the data shows that it's not the Conservatives who are making personal attacks. You can repeat anything I've said about Rush - I stand by it. Rush, Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, Coulter, Fox "news" -- all of 'em and those who believe them - hateful people. I stand by anything I've ever said. You don't have to have contact with me if you'd rather not. It's a choice. The only problem you and some other conservatives who have meandered over here have with me is that I don't cower when you attack. You "don't remember" what the other conservatives have done but "know" it's my fault. Yeah, you're the one to depend on. -Sheesh.
