with the Texas rewriting of textbooks, this is a big issue that should be dealt with. Texas shows us that if left up to the states, who knows what our kids will learn? Perhaps in Tennessee, our textbooks will say we won the Civil War after all. That one issue, the textbooks, shows me that it isn't a safe thing to bet upon. Without regulation, radicals take over. M.
