Some of the victims of those attacks were Muslim. In fact, the list of victims included people from a wide variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds. They did *not* support the terrorists. But because what little most people know of Muslims is that some terrorists were identified as such, they are suddenly all evil and should be kept from displaying their beliefs, being members of the larger community, and from having their sacred places where others might have to see them? That's really what it comes down to. Some people have been willing to kill in the name of Christianity. Does that mean that all Christians should be distrusted, and that they shouldn't be able to build any churches? It's the same thing.
