I am sick of the divisiveness and stubborn non-cooperation. This isn't supposed to be about how deeply we can divide the country, it's supposed to be about finding ways to work together to address the needs of the citizens, from poorest of the poor to richest of the rich, with fairness, respect and not excluding any citizens.

Insisting that each and every thing goes *your* way is not the way to accomplish that. Government "Of the people, for the people, and by the people" means *all* of the people. Not just those you agree with.

Those who are elected to office are there to represent *all* of their constituents, not just those that voted for them, or contributed to their campaigns.

"United, we stand. Divided, we fall."

"United States of America"

When did those ideas get lost from the equation?

Total agreement isn't necessary to make progress toward a goal. Willingness to temporarily set aside your own agenda and preconceptions is.
