Republicans have blocked and/or watered down every single thing that has come before them in this session. This was a simple "do you support the 9/11 workers who are sick?" bill and the Reps are on record for NOT doing so. That's the wrong side of the fence, in my opinion. The question is -- why did they vote against it? M.
