The usual critique is that people don't see here what they would like to see. My answer is: So post what you want to see. It's that simple.

I really haven't been looking at this particular site for a long time. I just happened to look about a month ago, and then again a few days ago. I'm not sure what sort of posts you are expecting from the other side. I just thought the "attack" mentality still seemed to be here. For quite a while, the only interaction with posters such as yourself has been attacks on those of us who stayed here and kept the board running. I have been attacked too many times to mention but I stayed "when the kitchen got hot." The ones who actually made the kitchen hot to begin with were the ones who couldn't take the heat. But, I can guarantee you that if you enter this message board without condemnation, you will receive none back. That's not to say you won't be answered or given proof as to why I or we have different opinions than you. But, in general, you won't be attacked if you don't attack first. As for Limbaugh, I will never apologize for my dislike of him and there is plenty of evidence as to why I should dislike him. You mentioned him in your earlier post - and while, no, there is no problem with a person having a prescription drug....unless it is in someone else's name and you have a huge supply and you are going into a country with a group of all men and the country is known for its child se x slavery. Those are all of the facts that concern the comment of mine that you quoted. That isn't an attack on you or your liking of Limbaugh -- it is an explanation of my comment.

So - just to throw out an issue... What is your opinion of building a mosque where the world trade center used to be? My opinion is that it should be built pretty much anywhere but there. The fact that the muslims want to put it there is an "in your face, we beat you Americans" kind of statement. Well, first of all, it isn't where the world trade center was. It is two blocks away. I don't think it has anything at all to do with 9/11 personally and I pretty much agree with Mayor Bloomberg's assessment of the situation. I've linked to an article outlining his opinion below. According to the article, "The project has been described by its designer as an "Islamic community center" and that it “is not a mosque.” The center will “include a 500-seat performing arts center, a lecture hall, an exhibition space, a swimming pool, a gym, a culinary school, a restaurant and a prayer space for Muslims,” according to CNN." We actually have Muslim-American soldiers fighting our cause overseas. We aren't fighting the religion but the radicals. Again, none of this is an "attack" on you but just my opinion on the question you asked.
