because my use of the word "outsiders" was not meant hatefully. I cannot call them by name because (a) they post by different names at different times and (b) they aren't regulars. That's my definition of "outsiders." Outsider is not a derogatory term...."troll" and some of the other names I use are and are meant to be that way. That, however, is after someone comes in with all of the answers without so much as a "How do you do?" Anyway, we're also trying to eat more organically. I have a cousin who is raising a huge farm now and am able to get a lot from him. We started square foot gardening this year and you'd be amazed at the difference in the health of the plants between the square-foot gardens and the regular one. It's well worth looking into. As far as potatoes go, if the farm used pesticides on the ground above the potatoes or in the nearby vicinity, it might make a difference. That's a good question for Vegsource! M.
