Subject:	Activist judges make disastrous decision

First of all, I have to say -- here they go again BEING what they claim to HATE. The RWers spew against "activist" judges and yet these 5 ARE and they are RW!! Let's not forget the atrocious decision they made in 2000 as well - Bush v Gore. That probably did more damage than anything before and since until this decision yesterday! (more examples needed? Ok - The latest is the Brown election in Mass -- a teabagging centerfold? Yeah, great family values!! LOL, Craig spewed against h0mosxual ity yet toe-tapped for it, Vitter spewed against those of "us" (as he claimed) against family values yet he obviously likes pr0stitutes more than family values, Foley spewed for child rights while trying to bed them, and if you need more.....just ask). They ARE what they SPEW AGAINST!

Are there any Republicans willing to speak out against this?

Yesterday, the Supreme Court announced a disastrous rollback of campaign finance laws. Their 5-4 decision gives corporations free rein to spend unlimited amounts of money on elections.

As The New York Times put it, this "opens the floodgates" for corporate money.1

It's a horrible decision. But we can undo some of the damage if Congress passes public financing of elections, which would give progressives and popul ists who don't have industry backing the ability to compete.
