Below, Peek made a significant claim that was in error. I'd like to correct it up here to clear the record. On August 6, 2001, President Bush's daily briefing included a memo, titled 'Bin Laden determined to attack inside the United States,' and indicated they could use planes. Peek A Boo said below that this Daily Briefing happened on Sept 11 and that Bush got the info just as the planes were taking off. That is false. The briefing was August 6, 2001. I do not blame Bush for 9/11 but this type of fact should not be ignored, especially in light of Cheney's continued appearances inciting fear and claiming that Obama can't keep the country safe when, in fact, it was his own administration who dropped the ball. There are some conspiracy theories about Bush "letting" 9/11 happen. I do not have that belief. If it is so, he will be dealt with in the afterlife, for sure! I would have to have more info than is available to say he absolutely knew ahead of time. But, the Bush family relationship with the bin Laden family is a known truth. That the Daily Briefing was on Aug 6th is a known truth as well. I felt that Peek's false assertion should be cleared up immediately since it is a huge fact that should not be distorted!! Since she wants every detail of a JOKE (another topic) to be torn apart, I'm sure she would want this most important detail cleared up. Source Number One
