She has done really well from the surgery. She had no side effects or infection and has gained her appetite back. She is getting used to having a colostomy now. She just had her first visit to talk about starting chemo next week. She will do two thursdays and then have one off.She will do this for 18 weeks. She still has a lot of cancer in her. She has spots on the lining of her abdomen and on the surface of many of her organs. The tumors they took out were huge. And of course she lost her colon. There is only a 5% chance the chemo will work. But that is certainly all my God needs to do his thing. I know he will heal her one way or another ,rather he heals her here or takes her home. My MIL is a very Godly woman from head to toe. She has never wavered in her faith or morales and lives her life solely to serve God. She is an awesome wife and mother and of course Grandmother. Her rewards will be many when God decides to bring her home!!!
Thanks to all who have included her in your prayers. Prayer is an awesome thing!!!
God Bless you all,
Cindy
