your group is just as intolerant as the educational system they love to criticize. I'm in NC - I've found that the same doctrinaire we-are-homeschool-purists-you're-not attitude is common here. We are secular homeschoolers, and none of the groups here will allow my kids in the door because we don't fit their definition of christian. see if your kids can make friends online with some of the VCS kids- I'd bet those parents are experiencing the same problems you are.
