I have heard that if it becomes mandatory, the insurance companies won't be able to punish people for preexisting conditions. Also have heard that one plan might be to allow people to enter into the plan that government employees have if it seems a better fit for them. But, who knows what the final will be? I wish they were able to start from scratch because bandaids on this current system is going to be very difficult.

But, have you looked at the following sites for your situation? Hopefully, they'll be of help!!.....

www.rxoutreach.com

www.pparx.org

If you must take something that isn't in the generic form, the 2nd link above will show how it might be obtained from the manufacturer. The first link normally deals with generics at a cheaper rate. Also, you could check the website of any drug corporation and they usually have a way to apply to help in affording the medication.

I hope this helps you now in your current situation and I also hope and pray that what is coming will be better than what we have now.
Millie
