my mind immediately because I've been reading on it, I know the Dem Congress has promised it and I know only the Republican filibuster prevented it last year. As far as unity/charity you are calling for, is it at all possible that perhaps as an American, I honestly believe people have a right to secret ballot? Be the change you want to see, Millie; all any of us can really control is our own attitude. I am sticking with my assumption that when you do look into the Employee Free Choice Act, you will agree with the best traditions of our country, that the secret ballot should be preserved, even in union matters. On many issues concerning foreign policy and economics, I am really hoping that I am wrong and that the Dem approach may benefit our country. But on card check, I am quite certain the Dems are wrong and it is only their financial beholden-ness to union interests that would have them vote in a way so completely out of line with what the vast majority of Americans think is right.
