I am going to stop accepting that as an issue anyway. For SIX YEARS, the Rep party never tried to abolish it. They were shoving through whatever they wanted - and whatever they wanted did not include whatever they had promised to you. The Rep party no longer holds that issue because they never tried to do anything but use it as a tool. Same goes for gay marriage. After Bush used it (changing the constitution) and then never ever even asked for it -- he's never been shy to say exactly what he wants and when he wants it -- yet after elected, he never mentioned it again. Those two issues no longer are in the Rep basket of positive traits. They put them in the basket and let them rot. M.
