over the last 8 years is that "liberal" has, somehow, become a bad thing...a negative. It's most often said with a bit of a sneer, rolled eyes, etc. The other thing is that it also seems to have become liberal=non-Christian. Why is that? I've been called a liberal many, many times so I guess I am. I have no problem with it. I'm also a Christian, a kind person, a loving mom and gramma. I pay my taxes with little grumbling...ok, a lot of grumbling...but I pay them. I love this country with a passion. I will fight for animal rights at any time of day or night. I don't get it.
