and am so proud of us. I was just at a site that had message after message from people around the world saying "Congratulations, America!" "You've redeemed yourself, America!" "Welcome back, America!" Gives me shivers.

I don't really think that there's that huge a divide between the policies of McCain and Obama. Not when you really dig. I think McCain's one, huge mistake was Palin. Period. I've talked to so many people who say the same thing...and they were McCain supporters. His other mistake was not talking about his plans and hopes for America but continually digging, digging, digging at Obama. The negative filth coming out of their campaign was nauseating. He's not the McCain that I used to admire. I can't take away his service to our country but his honor is gone.

Obama, on the other hand, seems so much more honorable and moral than McCain. Perhaps it's just the comparison as the negative attacks got worse and worse. McCain couldn't answer simple questions anymore without dragging Obama's name through the mud. Obama, OTOH, just kept talking the issues, laying out his plans, etc.

The worst part of this whole campaign has been Republican's comments upon the death of Obama's gramma. Any respect I might've had for the party is gone. I realize that there are many Reps that are not a part of this filth but, as a party, I have lost all respect forever.
