that The Washington Times was a Moonie owned publication. It's not a paper I pay a huge amount of attention to, but good to know nonetheless.
I think this would have been a very worthwhile question. In the 1992 Presidential election.
Even in this article, which I followed the link through the Democratic Underground to the original source, didn't seem to make any connection between George 43 and Moon, even though they rather misleadingly titled a subheading that way. But maybe I missed it, the baby has been rather demanding this morning and my attention is split.
Nauseating that Moon contributed so much to the Bush (41) library/foundation. Does it make you at all curious as to whom might be on the Clinton list Bill and Hillary refuse to release for their foundation?
I tell ya what you should be focusing on, which is relevant to today, is the connection between McCain/G. Gordon Liddy v. Obama/Ayers. I think there is a bit of a double standard going on there and that McCain should be subject to the same scrutiny as Obama is. Steve Chapman of the Chicago Tribune wrote on it on Sunday. Although, I must say that while Liddy is a convicted crook, he did not ACTUALLY bomb anything and even though he talks like a nut, I do think there is a difference between advocating violence and perpetrating violence. Nonetheless, it is an interesting comparison of the two pol's less than savory political connections and worth noting in the lead up to November.
I think that's the more salient story for today's election cycle.
Blessings, Holly
