I'm old enough to remember women's underthings back then. They were a little more, um, industrial in their construction than they are today but still delicates. There's no way Dobson's mother's girdle weighed 16 lbs unless she was twenty feet tall, big as a house, and had it custom made. 16 lbs?????????????? No freaking way.

Let's face it....Old Dobbers collided with a bit of frothy fabric and has turned it into a major beating. So he's a liar and a whiner, too.
