ignore the posts that are snotty & answer the ones that you really want to. (who cares if you are labled a "hit & runner"-there comes a point when all threads must have an end, afterall, someone has to have the last word.)OR you can hardly ever post like I do. I hate to see this board keep going down, but it seems to be. I don't agree with alot of what you have to say and I must say that some of the posts here have made me, if not change my mind about certain issues, at least reconsider my staunch opinion on them. (& over time actually help to change my mind on a few.)

And to all who will read this: It seems some posters here are only offended by outright hostility when it is directed at someone they disagree with. To me that seems two-faced. I am also sick of the defense used often.."well, I've had this done to me so many times over the last 8 years, so I don't know why I can't do it now." It's either wrong then AND now or OK then AND now. It can't be both.
I like to read here, but I seldom post mainly because of what is going on now. I don't want to get caught up in the cycle of having to research & post links of why my opinions are mine, defend any sources I have as being what someone considers valid, & then have thinly disguised barbs thrown at me. Believe me people, no one here is reading your posts & saying "oohhh..what a well written,witty sarcastic post.." I don't know why we can't speak plainly w/o trying to offend & if someone counters with an opposing view -well, counter away ..again without the barbs.
Reply or don't reply to this,(I probably won't respond-see above) I am not so naive to think that all will agree-I just hate to see a board that I have come to think of as a part of my life for the past 7 or so years turn into a place where I don't want to be.
