Bush often uses the "Globalization Card" to excuse some of the worst humane violations.
We're all familiar with the sweatshops in the US and abroad.
The illegality of child labor allows subcontrators to dodge labor laws and figure the cost savings into their bottom line.
The legality of hiring illegals in the USA at the repressive pay scale of their homeland is another of those "creative" methods of getting around labor protections. It also puts downward pressure on existing wages for American workers.
The GOP has allowed MultiNationals to rewrite Trade Agreements which only benefits their profits and not build infrastructure -- no accountability toward humane worker protections. These same Corps instigate violence against labor unions (eg., Columbia) and support abusive and corrupt regimes.
Predatory Capitalism. It's evil.
