I have a couple of learning disorders too. Irlen syndrome and severe dyslexia. I've been homeschooled since 2nd grade and I was evaluated 1 1/2 ago in 9th grade. The evaluator was very impressed that I had been as academicly sucsesful with the severity of my learning disabilities, that can tell you that one-on-one is much better for kids with learning disabilities. You might also tell your parents that many times, public, and even privite schools, really don't offer children with learning disablities near as much time and tutoring as they really need,I know this is a lot to take in,but, schools also don't admit kids have learning disabilities. If kids do have learning problems, they won't tell you it because it costs them more money. One more thing you could try is to propose the idea that maybe your family could try homeschooling for like a year or so. Or somthing simaler.
Hopr this helps,I'll be praying that things work out. If you have any ?'s or want to exchange laerning woes,I'm avalible.
P.S. Sorry for the miss spellings :)
