Yes talking is a good thing. My thought (and I am a parent homeschooling) is to educate your parents a bit. Find some statistics on homeschooling and its success. Find out the requirements that THEY need to meet for your state. Find some programs that potentially do some of the work for them, IE video teaching. Take your info to them, sit down and ask them to reason with you about this. Tell them whatYou arewilling to do to make this happen and how this can work with their lives. I know as a parent I have truly enjoyed the relationship with my children that homeschooling has created. It is so much more wonderful than I had imagined. Good luck. Helping your parents make an informed dicision will help lots, April
