I think it depends on what kind of group you want to have. Even if it's a home school group. All the ones I have been in are charity groups. For charity there are tons of things to do. One group I was in was called the sunshine girls,did a lot of things for the hospital. Blankets for the nursery,tray favors for holidays. We also did things for the nursing homes in our area.

I have more ideas and experiences if you want to hear them.
